You opened a chase account checking account. Did you appply for the credit card same day as well? If not, how long did you wait? I as well opened a chase checking account about more than a month ago. And just yesterday, i applied for a credit card. They need 10 days or less to make a decision. This makes me a little worried now. I hope they don't decline me. In other news, I also applied for a Capitol One Credit Card and got approved right away. 500$ limit.

This story, I am sure everyone goes through the same thing. It really does suck. But thanks to deferred action, we can all breath easier and do all the things we want. We just wont stop untill we can officially say I'm a US citizen. Then it truley wont matter.
