Im from Texas and mine says LIMITED TERM IDENTIFICATION CARD. It expires when my EAD expires.

I bow to no one but God and if anyone asks me I have nothing to hide. I commited no crime or sin by being illegal....my dad brought me to this country without doing things the right way...its not my fault he did things this way......If I share with someone my "situation" prior to DACA and they have the audacity to judge me, then they get the hell out of my life, they dont deserve to be in my life then...

Couldnt have said it better Sinae!!! I also feel that these "individuals" cant comprehend the blessings they have with being a citizen because they havent lacked what we have. I also feel that as long as I can work and study and be legally present in this country, I dont necessarily need citizenship. Im not saying it wouldnt be nice to have it, but its like a nice COACH purse, I dont need it but I wouldnt mind having it.. Us having applied for DACA is one of the greatest political moves that Obama could have done, not only did it allow him to be re elected but it made the faith the immigrant community has in the Republican pary go even more down..

I think they should just pass the DREAM Act so we dont have to be doing this every 2 years....

Ok, so I need a passport to travel within the country or is the EAD and TX id enough to get on a plane.. @ Sinae: these checkpoints are dumb and 50 meters before you get to the toll booth or whatever theres cameras on both sides of the vehicle taking pictures of you...

Im confused...if the SS # was issued to you by the SS administration office, then you should put it in the application. IF its a fake card/#, DO NOT put it... I dont think theyll find it through the biometric check but dont quote me on this...

Youre in a tough position...ultimately the decision will be yours and you should follow your gut feeling. If I was in that position I'd be honest and tell them that im in the process of obtaining my social security and that Im very interested in the position, hell, Id even offer to take a little less than what they offered me in wages as long as they allowed me to still be in the running for the position. Whatever you decide, good luck..and remember even if you dont get this job, other windows will open.....

I agree with Gezinha. Dont get me wrong, Im super happy for all of us that applied for DACA and were approved and those that are about to be approved but I cant help and be sad for some of our parents who havent obtained status. My mom is one of them..Id like her to enjoy the benefits I am, getting a job, going back to school, an ID, etc... Plus apart from a comprehensive immigration plan for all those that didnt qualify for DACA, Id be SUPER happy if we got the DREAM Act, so instead of renewing our work permit every 2 years and paying $380, we get a way to be citizens.. Ive also been following the news and my local newspaper and here in TX, republican will lose Texas if they dont support legislation towards immigration reform... I think this second re election for Obama shows that we support him and would all like to be recognized...I hope he does keep his promise and help all of us

I agree with Jose and Roadrunner on this, just dont put ANYWHERE on the application the fake social security number. Be honest about everything else and you should be fine. Good luck

In TX you need your SS card, EAD card and TX ID, as if they arent all the same thing....

This is a long shot but if USPS is saying that your address is undeliverable...maybe have you considered getting a p.o. box and getting it delivered there? just a thought..dont pay me too much attention...i may be talking out of my a**....

I dont see how now that Im the one sharing my opinion or view on what another member said is fueling the fire. Im just pointing out what was said and if you dont believe me or think im making it up please look up that past post. Those things were said and I respect everyone opnions even that members but once you start insulting or degrading others then I have a problem with people like that. I just like everyone else is entitled to my opinion and I am going ot be careful to give it and not step on anyones toes or insult them. I agree with pswa83 on this & I understand what she originally tried to say but there are ways to say things. Also I found it totally unacceptable for her to start "attacking" pswa83 for not speaking Spanish and Rawf for not remembering his early years...I mean to say were you deaf or blind wasn't correct. I'm not mad...I'm just saying how I feel and instead of being mad I put that energy into work and next...school.I personally am done giving attention to a subject that got out of hand.
