depressed and tired...

Recommended Posts

Every time I come to this forum and see you guys signatures with your progress makes very [word not allowed] sad... happy for you, very sad for me. I entered this country without inspection when i was 15, didn't go to school right away, worked, got paid cash, paid all my [word not allowed] cash, didn't get a bank account until I became 18, I'm having a VERY hard time to find ways to prove that I entered since then, I've worked my ass off, I've made it as far as I can, I know I can do better BUT I CANT. I'm 29 now ... depressed and emotionally tired. I've lived all of my adult life here, there is nothing there for me back at "home" but I can't do this anymore either...

Sorry ,..just needed to vent a little.

Hey uhm,

It is ok to vent here. We are all here to help out as much as we can. Just a few ideas that came to my mind as I was reading your post. Could you go to your former employer/current employer and ask for letters of how long you have worked for them? My employer wrote me a very simple letter stating I had worked for them since 2008 and I never presented any check stubs or anything. The letter had the business contact information. Also, did you go to the doctor, dentist or maybe attended some kind of program since you entered the country? Bank statements? Online purchases with paypal accounts or amazon accounts? You should also get transcripts of the schools you attended. Keep trying :)

Feel free to message me if you need help with your application or something.

Best wishes!

That's because they could get in trouble for hiring an illegal immigrant, specially if you were a minor.

Hope your situation get better soon and don't ever stop working to archive what you want in life.

Sorry to hear that Uhm, but don't give up. There is always light at the end of the tunnel and I am sure you'll soon achieve something better than this. Looking fwd to CIR 2013 ! So many others will be granted amnesty through that, stay positive bro !

aww don't be sad :( try to find as much proof as you can. You only need to prove you were here for five years (June 15, 2007 - present) that's what a lawyer told me and that's just what i sent. So don't give up :) I'm sure you'll find enough proof. Wish you the best!! Good luck and if you need help we are here to help you! ^_^

Uhm, if you contact your employer again and let them know that they run NO risk by giving that information. It said in the directions themselves that employers would not be penalized. It happened already so not much they can do about it now, hope things start looking up for you! God bless!
