I saw this post last night on facebook and I was like Woooo !! o_O

  1. School records, medical records, bills, e-mails, receipts, Anything with your name address and date on it.
  2. And the possibility of them letting you do it earlier is greater because they were expecting over 200,000 people to apply during the first month, and only 75,000 applied, so they won't be too busy.
  3. It is, and it's not like it's something out of this world that can get you in trouble. You can simply go to the office with your appointment letter and ask if you can get them done. If they aren't super busy they will probably let you do it and save yourself 2 weeks of waiting. If not, you just come back on your appointment date.
  4. i-821

    Of course, write your address.
  5. i-821

No. You don't have to put anything there if you get your own mail.
  6. form i-765

If you have ever filed paperwork with USCIS in the past, they would assign you an Alien Registration Number, which starts with an A. If you don't have one, you can put your I-94 number (if you have one) Read Question 11. That goes along with "Which USCIS office?" and "Results (Granted or Denied - attach all documentation)" If you answer "Yes" to question 11, then you fill out those spots. If you answer "No", move onto question 12.
  7. Yeah, the I-797C is the first one you get in the mail, that is the receipt where it shows how much money you sent them it gives you your case number and A#
  8. I would advise you to go take the pictures at a location that does Passport photographs, like Walgreens, CVS, U.S. post office. If you insist on taking the pictures yourself, read this. http://travel.state....toreq_5333.html It tells you the requirements. Here are some examples of good and bad photos http://travel.state....mples_5300.html
  9. Oh, that's the acceptance confirmation e-mail. It says I-797 on there but in reality they will mail you two I-797C Notice of Action with your case numbers. The reason you have 2 case numbers is because one is for your I-821D form and the other is for your I-765.
  10. You need to send everything together, the forms, the money, the passport photos, your documents. I sent mine in a hard white envelope that they sell at my local UPS store. It is for documents so that they don't get folded.
  11. You can get them done at many places like, Walgreens, some Postal Offices, UPS stores, CVS, Walmarts, FedEx locations. Call your local one and ask them. I would advise you to get them done at one of these locations, but you can also do them yourself. Here is some information if you want to do it on your own http://travel.state....toreq_5333.html
  12. An I-797C Notice of Action gives you an update to your case. What does the I-797 say?
  13. Yes, you need to send copies of all of the documents you will be submitting. They will keep all of the papers, so if you send an original, you won't get it back. If they need to see an original document, they will let you know when they mail you your Biometrics appointment to bring it in to the appointment.
  14. If they find out that she lied, that will surely affect her case.
  15. Hmm.....at the Biometrics appointment they take her fingerprints and pictures. I don't know how far they will check the background check or if they will do facial recognition and with what departments. How did she get a state issued ID in the first place? Surely she had to have showed proof of legal residence and a SSN. It is not okay to lie to the USCIS. You can be denied for fraud, maybe even deported.
  16. Sure they can just tell you to come back on your appointment date, you won't lose anything, you can only win. This is mostly for the people that live close by to their ASC office and can stop by and ask if they can take them earlier. If not, they will just go back on their appointment date. I would post the link for you to the other forums where people are already getting their EAD sent to them because they went in earlier for their Biometrics, but I don't think posting the link would be right. I will probably be calling in and asking them if my sister and I can go in at the same date because I sent her forms 2 days later and she will most likely get a different appointment date because it is too far to drive down there twice.
  17. The Biometrics appointment is scheduled 14 days in advance to give you time to get permission from work, etc. If you already have time to do it sooner to get your case moving, why not? If the ASC let's you and there is no problem, I don't see what's so bad about it. Take this as an example, you are at work and your boss gives you a list of chores and tells you, at 2:00 pm I want you to drop everything you're doing and throw out the trash. If you finish your chores before the time comes, are you just going to sit around and do nothing until the time comes? Of course not, if you have finished everything else, do it and move on to the next thing. At least that's how I see it. It's not like your going in there and demanding that they take your Biometrics. If they allow you to take the Biometrics earlier, why not?
  18. What I meant to say is that people say that they have gone in for their Biometrics with their appointment letter in hand.
  19. Here's what USCIS says to bring. Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization If you are e-Filing Form I-765, you do NOT need to submit paper photographs and you do NOT need to self-schedule an appointment at an Application Support Center for the electronic capture of your biometrics. You will receive a notice in the mail from the USCIS that will provide you with your USCIS-scheduled appointment for capturing biometrics and photographs at an Application Support Center. You MUST bring the following materials to your biometrics appointment, or processing of your Form I-765 will NOT be completed at your scheduled time: Biometrics appointment notice. Photo Identification. Acceptable kinds of photo identification are: Passport or national photo identification issued by your country, or Driver’s license, or State-issued photo identification card. I'm taking my passport, school id's, matricula, and birth certificate. Just in case.
  20. I'm not sure, it says an original document or certified copy so I think just the birth certificate will work. Hopefully it does because I forgot to take a copy of the translation -.- I'll take my passport and high school transcript since they are both accepted also, just in case.
  21. im worry :(

Okay, then you shouldn't worry too much about it.
  22. They might tell you no, because it is over the phone, but give them a call if you already have your Biometrics appointment and just tell them that you were wondering if you can get them done earlier since you have time to do it now.
  23. The ASC where we will be going to get the Biometrics done is ran and operated by USCIS. They would know if it's not right to get your Biometrics done earlier, they do that stuff for a living. I just thought I'd let you guys know that some people said they have walked-in before their appointment and got the Biometrics done earlier. I'm not saying that everyone should try it, or that it's the right thing to do, I'm just putting it out there that some have tried it, and it has worked for them and they are getting their EAD earlier. The worst that can happen is they tell you to wait for your appointment.
  24. I was 10 years old, it was 6 days after my birthday, I believe I was in school at the time and saw the news on TV after I got home.
