Sometimes its good to go in and just apply. But there are certain times I think you can do it online. It just depends on the job like most people above said.

It's only temporary. The state isn't against not giving DACA applicants drivers license, they just are confused as to what documents to take. It shouldn't take too long to resolve.

I'm going to guess that you need to reside in the state for a while. They do ask for utility bill or SOMETHING that has a CA address. So maybe if you come up with something, you will be able to apply for one.

This is crazy. We all knew USCIS would be stumped with new applications for DACA. if this is true, they should of been way more prepared as this was going to happen.
