  1. Hi, I'm New :)

Hi Vapor! What is it that you needed to discuss??
  2. Applied In 2013

I applied in July, and I got my work permit this month . I also had very little evidence to show. I had no work history, no bank account, and I graduated from school in 2008. But I went to Mexicana Hermandad here where I live, and they really helped me pull every bit of information together. Such as, a few doctor visits I had, receipts of medical pprescriptions, gym membership receipts, volunteer work... so long as I didn't have empty history that stretched more than 3 months, I was fine.
  3. Hi, I'm New :)

Nayeli, Well, it really depends. I have heard some people wait longer than others. Now when you say "approval letter", you are sure that it is the letter that says you have been approved and not the one that just says they have received your application right? You have already been to biometrics appointment? As soon as I was approved, I received my card within the week. I hope it is the same for you, but as I mentioned earlier, some people's cases are different. I hope I was of some help to you! Let me know if you do receive your card in a week or not. I would be glad to know if you did ! If you need anything else just let me know .

    Thank you Heisenberg2!
  5. Hi, I am 23 years old and I just got my work permit this month. Every job I want to apply for (from receptionist to hostess) asks for a resume. Plus, I keep hearing I should make one because it will look good, and I will have better chances of being hired. My dilemma is, how do I write a resume when I have little to no job experience? I have only worked for two months as a receptionist is a tax office. That is all the work experience I have ever had. What could I possibly write in my resume?

  7. Hi, I'm New :)

Hello, I'm Cindy! I just made my account here today. I've already been accepted for differed action, and have my work permit. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them the best I can . By the way, you can check your application status at: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do All you need is your case number that you receive in the first letter they send you after you first apply for DACA.
  8. Help.

When you file a differed action application, they send you a paper saying they have received it. On that paper is your case number. So you really should have it :/.
