Nebraska Service Center Topic from other DACA applicants
JoseG replied to itzel's topic in Dream Lounge
Can't really say what they are going by since they sometimes approve randomly, but I believe it goes by the date you went in for Biometrics. -
I can't say for sure since I haven't been approved and applied for a driver's license, but I'm pretty positive we can go apply as soon as we get our EAD and SSN. I believe we would be issued a limited license and ID just like when somebody goes to apply for an ID with a VISA, it's only valid for 6 months, or however long the VISA is valid for. The law that Brown signed is mostly for those that are granted DACA, but denied on their I-765. It will allow them to obtain a Driver's License and ID with just their DACA approval notice.

We go by the approvals. Vermont seems to be on the 13-14th of September. -
You will also receive 2 letters in the mail, one for each application.

Yeah like Itzel said, I don't think you should highlight the applications, but the evidence is okay.

It seems like today and yesterday Nebraska approved many more people than California, but mostly from Sep. 11-14 Biometrics. -
Hmmm...That's a tough one!

Yup, no contest.

Will they drug test us when we apply?
JoseG replied to Frakn's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
No they won't. -
What's your high score?
-
^ LMAO. Not yet, there is no specific order in which they are processed. I'm sure they will get to us soon, we just have to be patient.

For anyone who already have taken their biometrics test, what should we expect?
JoseG replied to Bee1989's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Not yet. Hopefully I get approved this week though. -
I have the text and e-mail set up but some people that have been approved say they didn't get an e-mail and the text arrived late, so I check every few hours >.<

Biometrics Appointment Step by Step and what to Expect !
JoseG replied to Luna's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
He scanned them both because both of them were on the paper and it's a new process so they don't know what is necessary or not. The only thing they go by is the "Code 3" which tells them to collect fingerprints, photograph and signature. I believe it was Vermont and Texas that put both of the Application Numbers on the Biometrics Notice. You can see in this thread that this person only had one number. The "Case Type" is I-821D but the Application Number is the one from the I-765, they're both linked. http://forum.adreama...tart-to-finish/ -
Biometrics Appointment Step by Step and what to Expect !
JoseG replied to Luna's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Before somebody asks, I just want to add that it's perfectly normal if you have only one "Application Number" on your Biometrics notice. It should be the same as your I-765 Receipt Number because you only need to do the Biometrics for the I-765 form, so you don't need both application numbers. -
My dad had told me about this a while back but I never looked it up. I'll probably sign up if I'm approved for DACA.
-
I don't think it matters, you will be keeping that sheet, as long as they took your fingerprints, picture, and signature you shouldn't worry about it.

One last help pls. Im ready to mail my application.. :)
JoseG replied to Mike's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
1) Make a copy of your current Birth Certificate, just like you would any other copy. Scan and print. Remember, whatever you send them, they will keep. 2) Doesn't really matter who buys the Money Order, I bought a Western Union one and wasn't asked for ID and I don't see why you would need ID, but just make sure you make it out to "U.S. Department of Homeland Security" 3) Put the last date you went to the school to take classes. -
Hmmm... I hadn't thought about this before.

Carlos Martinez is one of the 29 people who have actually gotten deferrals
JoseG replied to linda2305's topic in Dream Act News
There's probably over 300 approved by now. -
How are there 19 people born in the United States that applied for DACA? Those rejected are from the lockboxes, the applications are just returned to sender because they didn't send the correct fees or didn't sign their forms. They are able to re-submit their forms once they have made the corrections.
