Had My Biometrics On Dec 7Th. Still Initial Review !!

It's been 5 months since I went to the biometrics done, then I received a letter saying my case was moved to Nebraska. I keep checking my online case status but it continues to be on initial review. A friend of mine had his bios done a few days after me and he's already been approved and recieved his documents so I'm starting to feel like it's taking way too long
