That is true starting 2016 or sometime in 2016 you will use a read i.d. card however some states depending on the airport will allow you to have different types of ID proof.  Some will be keeping state ID's and driver license.  

I struggled on renewing my DACA as well.  I asked for a loan at the bank a minimal loan with no credit record it was 1000 dlls and actually put that it was to renew my legal status and they granted it to me.  You should try talking to a loan officer and if you have a car just put that as the collateral thingy.  Mine expired a month before I sent it in.  I went to my biometrics apointment 19 days before it expired luckily God is amazing and I got approved 4 days after the fingerprints.  But you should really try a bank.

It shouldn't take that long mine took 1 week or a little more because they "supposedly" had to get my birth certificate translated it just depends on the social security person that you get.  My brother went in last week and he got it printed the next day.  His actual social security card didn't come in till like 3 days after which originally was gonna take 2 weeks.  I say try applying again with somebody different or ask them if you can talk to a different person. Some social security agents can be jerks. 

You will receive the letter 3 days after they sent it.  The permit either that same date or like a day after. Just depends.  It takes 3 days after they give you the tracking number to receive it.  You need the permit to get your Ssn.

I believe in some states they fix your legal status that way you don't go back to your country with the money.

When I found out I was in shock but I did not see it as an act of terrorism I just thought of North Korea. I still don't think they did it, they interviewed the older brother in 2011 how come they didn't recognize him when they killed him. All of it sounds fishy maybe it is just another tactic of the government to shut people's mouths another good example of that would be the killing of Osama is there anything physical that proves he got killed? Other than "pictures" and documentaries, I doubt it. In this case there was videos of them and all but none of that leads the FBI to the actual killer(s). Then they will ask for identification and who knows what else.

Eeh some of you guys make my life so much better and easier at first I was stressing about it hinking of when the renewal will come and stuff but I got over that luckily I had a job interview last week at leastvthat gets my hopes up ) and I didn't mean to post this topic to offend anybody or who ever hasn't got approved your time will come sooner or later, still sorry.. For some reason something keeps telling me that I shouldn't have applied for the deferred action I know I deserve it but I feel like I should have left that opportunity for somebody who really deserved it since I can't find a job, my mom knowing the big opportunity President Obama gave us and that we had to put it to use, she still made me drop out of college not knowing how much that would affect me I just feel like every door is closing on me that I have no opportunities and I know I should be lucky and I am but its just all the negativity it has been 2 months and half that I got approved and I still can't find a job I feel like I just wasted that time.. I thought about going back to Mexico maybe there I had a shot at studying since the school I was going to here was the only one who accepts people with deferred action or they didn't have a problem accepting me like the other schools and also maybe working since I can really put the bilingual knowledge to work. I also considered maybe moving states but I cannot afford that since my parents are separated and I know my dad wouldn't want to pay so much for tuition. I am just overwhelmed I think
